A section of staff at the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry are angry at their chairman Richard Ngatia.
The Staff who requested anonymity, said the Chairman engineered the sacking and dismissal of the project coordinator for the Master Card money.
The cash was allegedly given to the Chamaber for onward lending to small businesses.
They however, did not reveal how much the cash was.
They went on to allege that the Chairman allocated himself the role of project coordinator.
“It’s then that he started paying himself a monthly salary of shs 1 million,” they said.
The staff also alleged the Chamber hasn’t paid rent for the Nairobi office for several months.
When reached for comment, Ngatia did not respond to both texts and phone calls
