Rogue Businesswoman Fatuma Mohamed Mire at the Centre of Marriage Certificate Fraud Syndicate

It is alleged that Fatuma Mohamed Mire forged a marriage certificate on diverse dates between November 17 2016 and June 3, 2019 purporting it to be genuine and issued by Kadhi’s Court at Nairobi on September 10, 1993.

Mire was charged with a second count of uttering where it’s alleged that on June 3, 2019 at the High Court of Kenya, in a succession cause with intent to deceive, knowing and fraudulently uttered a purported Muslim Marriage certificate.

She denied the charge before Chief magistrate Lucas Onyina but the prosecution has opposed her release on bail.

Appearing before Milimani Law Courts chief magistrate the suspect denied the charges and was detained pending the bail and bond formal application after the prosecution informed Court that they oppose release of the accused person on bond.
