City Lawyer Peter Wanyama on the verge of  snatching LSK Presidency as he present nominations papers today

City Lawyer Peter Wanyama will today (Thursday) present his nomination papers for his bid to become Law Society of Kenya president .

Wanyama who is billed among the frontrunner for LSK Presidential post will submit his papers at 2pm.

Speaking to the press ahead of the exercise, the Lawyer said he is optimistic that he will clinch the seat in the February elections.

He said he is committed to bringing reforms at the society that will include weeding out fake lawyers, protecting the rights of advocates and improving the working conditions of advocates as well as ensuring the rule of law prevails.

” We are going to take the sear and transform it to a better place. We will ensure the welfare of members is addressed and the society is active if advocating for strict adherence to the rule of law,” he said.

Lawyer Wanya was yesterday endorsed by vibrant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir dignalling his chances of snatching the seat.
