His poweful English and master of intonations had placed him as one of the best fake lawyers in town.
However , Brian Mwenda Njagi’s days came to a halt after the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Nairobi branch nabbed him pants down as he masquerade as an Advocate of the High Court.
” He was my lawyer, I had already paid him some cash, I don’t what I will do, I never knew I was dealing with a conman,” said a city resident.
Mwenda has handled some high profile cases including the recent one where he represented Maina Njenga in court.
Brian was arrested following complains by members of the public due to his fraudulent activities as he also impersonated himself as a member of LSK Nairobi branch.
“The LSK Nairobi Branch Rapid Action Team (RAT) has nabbed Brian Mwenda Njagi (pictured below), who has been falsely presenting himself as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the branch.
The impostor was nabbed after RAT received complaints from the public about his fraudulent activities.” said Cyprian Nyakundi
LSK confirmed that the suspect lacks the necessary credentials to practice law. He is currently being held by RAT pending further action. Check the Video below.
