Lecturer found dead in his house.

A Pwani University lecturer was Sunday morning found dead in a rented house at Kwa karimiko area in Kilifi town.
Kilifi North Sub county Police Commander Kenneth Maina confirmed the incident.
However, Maina declined to reveal the identity of the lecturer as the next of kin had not been notified.
“It is true there is a lecturer who was found dead but I cannot tell you the name until we notify the family,” he said.
The lifeless body of the don was discovered after neighbors alerted the area chief following a foul smell and a trail of flies coming from the house of the lecturer.
Fatuma Said, a lecturer said the foul smell has been there for the last two days.
“We thought it was either a dog or a cat that had died. We even tried to find around if we could get a dead animal but today morning we saw flies allover the windows of the house and we called the village elder but he was unavailable. We called the chief and we broke the padlock of the main gate. The door to the house was open. The body was lying on the floor in his bedroom without clothes,” she said.
According to Said, the don could have died three or four days ago.
His body was already decomposing.
A lecturer from the same University described the deceased as a quiet person.
He was a French language lecturer.
“He was a person who kept everything to himself. If you meet him he will just greet you and go his way. No stories,” said the lecturer
He was living alone in the house.
Neighbors also described him as a person without company.
“We only see him when he comes in or goes out. He mostly uses boda boda so he has not time for stories with the neighbors. We have not seen any other person go in his house,” said Janet Muoki, a neighbour
