A Narok resident has been charged with stealing Sh 4.9 million from Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO).
Michael Santeto Tiampati is accused of stealing Sh 4,985,879 from FAO which was erroneously sent to bank account NO. 1107712238, domiciled at KCB Moi Avenue Branch where he is one of the signatories.
Tiampati is alleged to have committed the offense on the 22nd August 2022 at an unknown place in Kenya, jointly with others not before court.
He denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi and was released on a cash bail of Sh 300,000.
