Two boda boda operators have been killed by a speeding car in Nyalenda area in Kisumu.
The two operators died on the spot.
According to the Traffic police commander Allan Mwangi, the car driver was rescued by police from the angry mob that were baying for his blood.
This , Mwangi said is after his vehecle was burnt by the mob.
He said their was alot of hostility and tension within the area following the incident.
“We have launched investigations into the matter to know exactly what might have transpired.The area was too hostile when officers reached the scene,” Mwangi added.
The driver of the saloon car is currently at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital undergoing treatment.
