An administration Policewoman Lilian Biwott who shot dead her husband in Eldoret twi weeks ago had been charged with murder.
She appeared before High Court Judge Richard Nyakundi and denied the offense.
Lilian is accused of killing her husband Victor Kipchumba on October 9th at Kimumu in Eldoret town.
Her lawyer Oscar Oduor immediately applied for the suspect to be released on bond.
State Council David Fedha said the state was not opposed to her bail application.
Asked if the committed the offense lilian said, ” I am not guilty your honour”.
Lilian looked composed in the dock and the court room was packed with relatives for both the suspect and family of the deceased.
Judge Nyakundi will later today decide on her bond application.
