Fire Kenya railways MD Philip Mainga over corruption, illegal extensition Term, Activist tells Ruto in court

Kenya railways Managing Director Philip Mainga is on spot again over illegal stay in office after his term expired February this year.

An Activist Salim Nganga has moved to court and petitioned the head of state president William Ruto to fire Mainga over what he terms as illegal extension in office and rampant corruption, after Mainga bribed the Kenya Railways Board.

Mr Salim has further claimed in the petition that Mainga is incompetent in the management of Kenya Railways and in particular Sgr.

The Activist in apetition filed at Milimani High Court also wants president Ruto to end Chinese contract of managing SGR.

The Activist has now threatened for mass action if the president will not act.

Mainga is the current MD of Kenya Railways and now serving his second term.
