Governor for Uasin Gishu Jonathan Bii has intensified his battle against critics whom he accuses of trying to potray him as a failure in running the county.
Bii said some of his opponents in the last elections are yet to believe that he defeated them and are still busy sabotaging him.
“Those I defeated should now move on and accept that I am the governor until we go back to elections. Let them wait for 2027”, said Bii.
Bii who spoke during a development tour in Mois Bridge area said he was now busy focusing on delivering his Nguzi Kumi (ten point) development agenda and that he would not accept to be detracted by critics.
He dismissed as the work of satanic individuals the recent circulation of fake ranking reports for governors which indicted he was position 47 among all govenors.
“Sasa wakisema eti niko number 47 hiyo sio ukweli na ni kazi ya shetani ambaye anafaa kushindwa kabisa’. (When they says i am position 47 that is not the truth and is the work of satan who who should be defeated” , said Bii.
He said according to reports from the office of controler of budget Uasin Gishu was position 15 in the use of development resources and position 3 in the amount of resources allocated for development.
Bii said his performance was not a secret because the work he had done was evident in all parts of the county.
“Let those still doubting be sure that Koti Moja is the govenor of Uasin Gishu and my administration will serve everyone including those I defeated”, said Bii.
Bii toured several projects including cattle dips, roads under construction and agricultural projects.
He said the same saboteurs had tried to create a wedge between him and other elected leaders in the county.
“I work well with all leading this county and those who think they wil make cash from spreading propaganda should know that we have no such money’, said Bii.
The governor said his team was committed to transforming the county through prudent management of resources to alleviate poverty and improvement of the livelihoods of residents.
