Hackers Charles Mogaka Nyangau and Douglas Juma Onduso charged with hacking the NTSA account

Two men were charged for allegedly hacking the NTSA accounts and transferring Motor Vehicle registration details to another unlicensed person different from the original owner of the car.

Charles Mogaka Nyangau and Douglas Juma Onduso were today arraigned before Milimani Chief Magistrate Lucas Onyina facing charges of obtaining Car Registration by false pretences.

According to the charge sheet, the two accused persons on March 13,2023 hacked the National Transport and Safety Authority accounts and procured a transfer registration certificate (logbook) dated 15/03/2023 for a motor vehicle make Scania lorry from John Abuga to Charles Mogaka Nyanga.

The two accused persons denied the charges and were released on a bond of Ksh 200,000 with an alternative cash bail of Ksh 100,000.
