PIPSSA, , International WoodcreekPreps schools girls soccer games attracks over 35, schools

Today the Sports Association (PIPSSA) in conjunction with Woodcreek School

staged a spectacular successful girls soccer tournament for U11, U9 & U7.

The tournament that was graced by soccer enthusiasts and scouts from South Carolina in United States of America brought together atleast 35 teams from a pool of about 12 international and private schools.

The football scouts who attended are seeking to support soccer talented kids to get sports scholarships from schools, colleges and universities in America.

In the Under 11, Oshwal Academy Nairobi took the title while Aga Khan Academy Nairobi picked the under 9 title. Crawford International School who last weekend hosted the boys tournament won the under 7 title.

Experienced Coaches present during the games said that the tournament was becoming better and bigger each season saying it has been exposing the young ones to world-class competitive soccer action.

They averred that the tournaments exposure was invaluable and served to build teams confidence besides fostering social cohesion and providing a talent scouting platform.

According to the sports calenders, the next upcoming junior soccer actions spread out across this year will be held at Nanyuki, Kampala, Diani, Dubai, London, Spain, America, Egypt and Arusha.
