Probe After Judiciary Staffer Shot Dead In Migori

Police in Migori County have launched a manhunt for a gang that allegedly shot and killed a Judiciary employee and a boda boda operator in Koigo village, on Saturday night.

Suna East Police Commander, Esau Ochokorodi, says Pamela Auma who worked as a senior court assistant at migori high court was shot a few minutes after leaving her house with her rider by a gang that was also using a motorbike.

The Kenya Magistrates and Judges Association (KMJA) has condemned the incident and called on the security agencies to act with speed and bring the culprits to book.

KMJA has also decried the threat facing judicial staff and now wants to meet President William Ruto to seek his intervention on the matter.
